Indian Head Camping is located in St-Georges-de-Malbaie, Quebec, Canada, right on the Atlantic coast between Percé and the Town of Gaspé.
Its name comes from this natural rock formation that resembles an Indian's head in profile, looking toward shore. According to local legend,
an explorer captured an Indian maiden and took her away with him across the sea. Her Indian lover turned his back on the ocean and vowed
that he would never look to the sea again, until she came home but she never did return. Many of our campers, however, keep coming back year after year!
